Hour of the Gryphon, first available on fever_dreams, is now available as an e-book!
Avelia, daughter of a rebel duke, wishes to serve her House by going to war. She flees an unwanted marriage and places herself on the front lines by standing in for her best friend. Thinking to find herself with an easy post, she assumes his identity, but winds up under the command of the magnetic and ruthless general himself. When her secret outs, the honor of her family is called into question, and she must prove that she is no traitor. Rather than be dismissed for her deception, she agrees to submit herself to the general's testing. To what lengths will Avelia go to prove her loyalty to her ruthless master? To what lengths will he go to test her? This book contains explicit (albeit fictional) sex and is intended for adults only. All characters are over 18. The material contained in this book may be offensive to some readers. Hour of the Gryphon contains scenes of discipline and borderline non-consensual encounters
This is a much-improved, edited version that I like much better. If you have read and prefer the old version, it will still be up at fever_dreams, and I won't be altering it further.
Regular price is $3.99, but I've got a 20% off code for you below. You can download it in eight different formats, or read it on the site. The first 20% is available for free, so you can see what you're getting.
Right now it is only available at Smashwords, but it will (hopefully) soon be distributed to other retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon. I encourage you to buy it through Smashwords, though, since I get more of the proceeds from direct sales through them!
Bonus: Enter coupon code AM35G at checkout to get a 20% discount! You'll only be paying $3.19. This offer will end on Monday! If you forget to put the code in, I can't fix that, so be sure you enter it!
I am really, really pleased with the cover design, and if I have followed the instructions right, the text should look nice, too. (I've tested it in .mobi and .epub formats, and those look great.)
Guys, seriously, I am so excited. This is sort of our weasel, and we're sending it into the rabbit hole to see what comes out the other side. If it does well, there will be more. And I really, really hope that there will be!
To that end, if you link back to this entry right here from your own journal or blog, or if you Tweet it, and leave me a link so that I can see what you've done, I will put your name in a hat for a drawing for a free copy. You've got until Monday evening sometime. I know, real specific, right?
Also, if you link right away, your friends will be able to get in on the 20% off deal, too!
ETA: Winner announced! Congrats, Matt!
